Author and Title Search: This search allows you to enter all or part of both authors' names and titles. You may want to use it in those cases when you know parts of an author's name and some words in the title, but don't have complete information on either.

Click in the first box and type an author's name. Then click in the second box and type words from the title of a work by that author. Then click the Search button (or press the Enter key)

Please be patient! Because this type of search involves a combination of both Author and Title searching, it often takes longer than other kinds of searches. Choosing more unusual words in names or titles should speed things up.

Word(s) in Author's Name: twain Word(s) in Title: finn This will find various editions of Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn under a variety of titles, such as: The adventures of Huckleberry Finn; Big river : the adventures of Huckleberry Finn : a musical...; The true adventures of Huckleberry Finn; Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer among the Indians, and others.
Word(s) in Author's Name: bach Word(s) in Title: sonata This will find Bach sonatas with a variety of titles, such as: Sonate in g-moll : für Oboe und Basso continuo ; Six sonatas for flute and clavier. Sonata for violin ...; English suite no. 5 in E minor. Sonata in B minor for flute, and others.
Word(s) in Author's Name: athens Word(s) in Title: code This will find Housing code, City of Athens, Ohio; Athens city code; Code of ordinances of Athens, Ohio; Code of ordinances of the city of Athens, Ohio, etc.
