Local Call Number Search: Besides Library of Congress Call Numbers, we use a number of other types of call number for special sections in our collections. The list below describes the kinds of items you can locate with this type of search.

Dewey Decimal books	We still have a few, older books with Dewey Decimal call numbers. They are kept in the Library Annex, from which you may have them brought back by using ALICE's Request button.

SuDOCS Numbers (Athens) (U.S. government publications)	Because of a former policy, some SuDOCS Numbers were indexed as Local Call Numbers. Current practice is to index them as SuDOCS Numbers; however, if the number is not located with the SuDOCS call number search, a local call number search should be tried.
