ISBN ISBN (International Standard Book Number) Numbers, as found in books and bibliographic databases, consist of 10 digits separated by hyphens or spaces; omit the hyphens or spaces when doing a search on ALICE:

ISSN ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) Numbers consist of 8 digits, separated by a hyphen. DO include the hyphen when searching on ALICE.
